Police arrest 2 suspects after early morning armed robbery in Scottsdale

PHOENIX — A man and woman were arrested Saturday after an early morning armed robbery at a Scottsdale store, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
The two suspects entered the store near the intersection of Camelback and Scottsdale roads around 1:30 a.m. and pointed a handgun at a victim while stealing items, according to authorities.
Officers later located a vehicle matching a description given by a witness and attempted to make contact.
The two suspects failed to stop and a chase ensued, according to authorities.
The pair fled to a residence near Bell Road and 99th Avenue in Peoria and barricaded themselves before eventually being arrested.
