PHOENIX — Banner Health announced on Friday that it is now offering drive-thru flu shots at its site on the Arizona State Fairgrounds.

Located at 1826 W. McDowell Rd. in Phoenix, the site will be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon. The site will be closed on Sundays.

Patients as young as six months old can receive a flu shot.

Appointments are required and can be made online or by calling 844-549-1851.

Walk-ins are not permitted and those who arrive without an appointment will be asked to leave and complete the online or phone screening process.

No payment transactions will occur at the site, as flu shots are usually covered by insurance.

Any insurance co-pay or self-pay billing will be processed after the appointment.

Flu shots are also available at Banner Urgent Care or through primary care physicians, which can be scheduled online as well.

We want to hear from you.
