PHOENIX – The Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art will reopen its doors next month after closing due to mitigate the spread of coronavirus in March.
Visitors will be able to return to SMoCA on Oct. 3. As part of reopening, the museum will off free admission for the month of October.
SMoCA has implemented new guidelines to keep staff and visitors safe. Guests will have timed admission tickets to limit the number of people in the facility.
Tickets will be sold online and in-person.
Only 20 visitors will be allowed in the museum each hour and groups will be limited to no more than six people.
Face coverings are also required at all times.
Visitors will not be able to access interactive gallery components. The museum has also shifted all public programs to an online format or postponed them until further notice.
The museum will be open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday to Sunday.
