Shooting at motel balcony in Phoenix leaves 1 dead

PHOENIX — A 42-year-old man was shot on the balcony of a motel in Phoenix on Saturday morning.
The incident occurred around 5:30 a.m. near Interstate 17 and Greenway Road, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
Authorities said the victim, Agustin Bustamante, was transported to a local hospital by the Phoenix Fire Department, where he was pronounced dead.
The suspect — an unknown male — fled the scene prior to police arrival, authorities said.
No other information was made immediately available.
The investigation is ongoing.
