PHOENIX — President Donald Trump will make an appearance in Phoenix on Monday for a campaign event as part of a trip across the western U.S.
Trump will host a Latinos for Trump roundtable event at the Arizona Grand Resort at 2:15 p.m., according to a campaign email.
Tickets for the event are now available and doors will open at 9 a.m.
It’ll be the president’s fifth visit to Arizona during the election cycle and first to Phoenix since hosting a Students for Trump event on June 23.
Trump was most recently in Arizona on Aug. 18 when he visited the border wall and hosted a campaign event in Yuma.
Arizona is widely considered a battleground state and Trump’s challenger, Democrat Joe Biden, has held a slight lead in polling over recent months.
An OH Predictive Insights poll released in early August found Biden up 49%-45%, but it was the third consecutive poll the Republican incumbent had whittled down the difference.
In a similar poll in July, Biden was ahead 49%-44%. In May, he led 50%-43%.
Trump will also make three campaign stops in Nevada as part of the trip.
