Arizona State University provides coronavirus case total in latest update

PHOENIX — Arizona State University provided an update to its coronavirus case total on Monday night.
The school now has a known total of 28 cases among faculty and staff out of 12,400, yielding a 0.2% positivity rate among employees.
ASU now has 775 known positives within its 74,500 students (excluding online).
That metric yields a 1.04% confirmed positivity rate among the student body.
There are 428 known positive cases from students living off campus in the metro Phoenix area.
Of the 9,654 students that live on the Tempe campus, 323 are in isolation.
There are 24 cases between the downtown Phoenix and West campuses, however, the exact numbers per campus were not released.
A total of 1,188 students live on ASU’s downtown Phoenix campus.
No known cases were reported of the 769 students that live in university housing on the Polytechnic campus.
