PHOENIX — Vice President Mike Pence will visit Arizona next week, the White House announced Tuesday.
Pence will arrive in Arizona on Aug. 11 to visit organizations in Tucson and Mesa.
In Tucson, Pence will be endorsed by the Arizona Association of Police, which represents 47 agencies in the state.
He will then go to Mesa for an event with the Latter-day Saints for Trump Coalition.
Pence last visited Arizona on July 1, when he met with Gov. Doug Ducey in Phoenix to discuss the state’s effort to stop the spread of coronavirus.
The vice president originally planned to attend a campaign event in Tucson on his last visit, but that was called off amid a rise in coronavirus cases.
Ducey is going to Washington, D.C. on Wednesday to discuss efforts in fighting coronavirus and helping the economy.
