Interstate 10 reopened at Interstate 17 interchange following crash

A portion of Interstate 10 at the Interstate 17 interchange has reopened after a single-crash closed down the freeway for hours.

PHOENIX — A portion of Interstate 10 at the Interstate 17 interchange has reopened after a single-crash closed down the freeway for hours, the Arizona Department of Transportation said in a press release Saturday.

The I-17 to I-10 eastbound transition ramps have also reopened.

According to the Department of Public Safety, the collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian occurred around 10:30 a.m.

The collision left the eastbound lanes of I-10 closed at the I-17 “stack” interchange, along with the I-17 to I-10 eastbound transitions ramps, authorities said.
