PHOENIX — Fired Pie is opening a new location in the Valley in hopes of taking a slice out of wait times.

The pizza joint on 19th and Northern avenues in Phoenix will not have a dining room, according to a press release.

Instead, the spot will only handle online orders, delivery, carryout and catering.

“Carryout and delivery stores are in demand, especially those with customizable options,” co-owner Fred Morgan said in the release.

“We’ve chosen a great location for this store, where our customers can easily have their meal made fresh in under 10 minutes.”

The menu includes build-your-own pizzas with more than 40 topping options, salads, macaroni and cheese, and desserts.

The grand opening for the to-go spot will be Friday at 11 a.m.

Fired Pie has 19 sites in the Phoenix area and one in Tucson.

The company plans to open three to five more in the next year and expand to other states, the release stated.
