The Doobie Brothers announce tour stop at Ak-Chin Pavilion in Phoenix

PHOENIX — Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominee rock band The Doobie Brothers announced a 2020 tour stop in Phoenix.
The band’s 50th Anniversary Tour will come to Ak-Chin Pavilion on Oct. 3 to perform a collection of hits from its 40 million albums sold worldwide since 1970.
Tickets for the general public go on sale Dec. 6 but presale will be available on Dec. 2 on Live Nation.
Although the band has seen significant turnover in terms of members, the current touring group consists of Tom Johnston, Michael McDonald, Pat Simmons and John McFee.
If you can’t make the October show, the band also announced that it will hold a Las Vegas residency featuring eight shows at the The Venetian Theatre in February 2020.
The band was nominated for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in October.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees will be announced in January 2020. Other nominees include Pat Benatar, Dave Matthews Band, Depeche Mode, Whitney Houston, Judas Priest, Motorhead, Nine Inch Nails and The Notorious BIG.
