PHOENIX — The founder of a popular Sedona restaurant has opened a new venture in downtown Phoenix.
David Warr opened Giving Tree Cafe in early October near Seventh Street and McDowell Road, next door to popular vegan restaurant Green New American.
The 3,200-square-foot eatery focuses on organic and vegetarian ingredients and is open daily from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
“Giving Tree Cafe is our expression of an authentic world of sustainable abundance, a reflection of our connection to spirit,” Warr said in a press release. “We choose wholesome organic ingredients to honor our Mother Earth, our guests and ourselves.”
Warr is the founder and former executive chef of ChocolaTree, which also specializes in organic vegetarian dishes.
Giving Tree offers all-day breakfast items such as homemade banana bread, avocado toast and waffles.
Lunch and dinner offerings include pastas, quinoa bowls and tacos, and a variety of wine, beer and cocktails are available for purchase.
A grab-and-go section with juices, sandwiches, wraps and desserts is also available.
