PHOENIX – A Paradise Valley property with a variety of sports amenities has entered the race to become the most expensive home ever sold in Arizona.
The 15,875-square-foot estate near McDonald Drive and Invergordon Road was listed last month with the astronomical price tag of $21 million.
Only two existing Maricopa County homes have higher asking prices, according to Realtor.com listings, topped by a $32 million Scottsdale beauty that hit the market in May.
In March 2018, a 16,602-square-foot Scottsdale home set the state record by fetching a whopping $18.8 million.
The newly listed Paradise Valley property was built in 2010 and features six bedrooms and 12 bathrooms on a 4.59-acre lot.
The gated estate boasts views of Camelback Mountain and features a private wine room off the dining room and a guest house.
Outdoor amenities include a sunken tennis court, basketball court, soccer field and 75-foot lap pool.
According to Maricopa County Assessor’s Office records, the seller is Larry P. Clemmensen, former president of the Capital Group, a global investment firm.
