California helicopter repair company relocates headquarters to Chandler

PHOENIX — A California-based helicopter engine repair company announced Wednesday that it is relocating its headquarters to Chandler.
H.E.R.O.S. Inc. will move from Santa Clarita into a nearly 19,000-square-foot space at 10 Chandler near Galveston Street and Interstate 10.
The company plans to create 25 jobs and be fully operational by winter.
“Over the past year, we’ve explored several buildings and opportunities. In the end, we found our home in Chandler,” Raffi Kajberouni, H.E.R.O.S. Inc. vice president, said in a press release.

“The city of Chandler provides excellent business opportunities and has a deep footprint of aviation industries.”
Kajberouni said Arizona’s low tax rates and operational costs, as well as its talented workforce, persuaded the company to move.
“Arizona is a leader in the aerospace and defense industry, thanks to investments from companies like H.E.R.O.S. Inc.,” Sandra Watson, president and CEO of the Arizona Commerce Authority, said in the release.
“We thank them for their commitment and look forward to welcoming them into our community.”
