PHOENIX — Pizza lovers, rejoice!
The fifth annual Phoenix Pizza Festival, located at Margaret T. Hance Park in downtown Phoenix, is headed back to the Valley on Nov. 16.
The festival benefits Downtown Phoenix, Inc., a community development group that “was established to attract more businesses, residents and visitors to downtown Phoenix.”
Around 20 pizza makers from around the state are expected to attend, with $2-$4 slices, as well as full pies available for purchase.
Last year, Freak Bros., La Piazza, Spinato’s, Rosati’s, Z Pizza, Buddyz, Jimmy & Joe’s, il Bosco, Floridino’s, Saffron JAK and Nello’s were just some of the vendors participating in the event.
There’s more than just pizza, however, as the festival will also have craft beer and wine bars, dessert stations, live bands, lawn games and a kid’s craft zone.
According to the festival website, approximately five craft beer and wine brands will have individual bars around the event.
Tickets are $10 and are expected to sell out ahead of the festival date.
