PHOENIX — The Woodbury Fire is 100% contained around the perimeter as of Monday at 7 p.m.

Incident Commander Trainee John Johanson said in an email that the fire is contained, but there is still active fire and smoke within the interior.

Authorities do not expect the fire to grow anymore, but it will move through unburned vegetation as crews gain full control of it.

The Woodbury fire has burned 123,875 acres since it sparked June 8.

It is the fifth largest wildfire in Arizona history.
