PHOENIX — A man was killed Sunday in Phoenix during a domestic dispute with a mother and her two sons, according to police.

Sgt. Luis Samudio said police responded to a domestic violence call around 11:30 p.m. near 19th and Peoria avenues.

A 43-year-old man had been fighting with a woman when her sons, 22 and 15, intervened, Samudio said.

He said during a physical struggle, the sons noticed the man had stopped breathing.

The man was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Samudio said.

He said the sons are being considered as “investigative leads” and no arrests have been made.
