PHOENIX — The Arizona State Fair on Tuesday announced country singer Chase Rice as its first musical guest for this year.

Rice will perform at the Veteran’s Memorial Coliseum on Oct. 24 at 7 p.m.

Reserved tickets for Rice’s show go on sale July 12 at 10 a.m, but admission for the show is included with the purchase of a fair ticket.

Rice has produced four studio albums and is currently in the middle of his fifth tour, the Eyes on You Tour.

For the second consecutive year, the fair is spreading out its concert series announcements instead of releasing the whole lineup at once.

The Arizona State Fair begins this year on Oct. 4 and runs until Oct. 27.

Last year’s musical guests included Big & Rich, Pitbull, Gary Allan and The Flaming Lips.

We want to hear from you.
