PHOENIX — Several Valley restaurants are can’t-miss when it comes to brunch.

Business review website Yelp included six Valley establishments on its 2019 list of the top 100 brunch spots in the United States: T.C. Eggington’s, The Henry, Butterfield’s Pancake House, Original Breakfast House, T Cook’s and Olive & Ivy.

The ranking of the many restaurants around the country was compiled by Yelp’s team of data scientists, who looked at reviews received by places for their brunch, while also considering both the rating and volume of the reviews.

Leading the pack in the state was Mesa’s T.C. Eggington’s at No. 3. The restaurant boasts a four-star rating with 262 five-star reviews out of 501 as of Friday afternoon.

“This is probably one of the best breakfast joints in Arizona. Love the fresh food and offerings here as well as specials and new menu items. Definitely recommend it. Homemade preserves and other menu items make this a wonderful spot for breakfast and lunch,” wrote Yelp reviewer Nicholas C.

Venture further down the list and you’ll find The Henry, located in Phoenix, at No. 54. The Henry, a rated four-star establishment, has received five stars in 647 of 1,362 reviews on Yelp.

“I went for brunch, my favorite thing to do now on Sundays lol. Anyway….!!! The atmosphere was great, busy and loud but overall what do you expect on a Sunday brunch hour. The service was excellent and the server at my table gave great recommendations,” Yelp reviewer Florensia D. wrote.

Joining the two Valley restaurants on the ranking was Butterfield’s Pancake House in Scottsdale, which has a 4.5 Yelp rating. Landing at No. 71, the restaurant has 963 reviews, 601 of which were five stars.

“This is our favorite breakfast spot in Scottsdale. It is consistently delicious and quality breakfast. The food comes hot, the coffee flows freely, and the orange juice is fresh-squeezed on site,” Yelp reviewer Jordan W. wrote.

Original Breakfast House in Phoenix also cracked the list, coming in at No. 75 with a 4.5 Yelp rating and 1,084 five-star reviews out of 1,548.

“This place was AMAZING!!! It’s pretty much that simple. Keep in mind it’s CASH ONLY. Fresh squeezed OJ. The chicken fried chicken and steak were to die for. I am not at all disappointed in anything when it comes to this restaurant,” Yelp reviewer Desiree B. wrote.

T Cook’s, located in Phoenix, landed at No. 86. Garnering a 4.0 Yelp rating, the restaurant has received 183 five-star reviews out of 369.

“One of the best dining experience I’ve had in Scottsdale/Phoenix. This place is tucked inside of the Royal Palms resort. Great selection, excellent service and a classy ambiance,” wrote Yelp reviewer Justin P.

Scottsdale’s Olive & Ivy, which has a 4.0 Yelp rating, rounded out the Valley restaurants at No. 88. Of the 1,922 reviews, 956 were five stars.

“Lovely, lovely brunch! Can’t wait to go back for dinner. Beautiful restaurant, wonderful service and delicious food all made in house, scratch!” Yelp reviewer Karina G. wrote.

In addition to the Valley brunch spots, Tucson’s Nook also made the list, coming in at No. 21. It has received 201 five-star reviews out of 391 and holds a 4.0 Yelp rating.

“One of my favorite breakfast/brunch places in Tucson! The food is stellar – all types of flavors from Mexican to Chinese. They have basic staples to specialty dishes with a twist,” Yelp reviewer Jaclyn L. wrote.

Of the 100 establishments listed, Honolulu’s Orchids topped the charts, while the Beehive Restaurant in New Jersey rounded out the list.
