PHOENIX – West Valley charity Benevilla has teamed up with Charitable Adult Rides & Services (CARS) to create a vehicle donation program.

According to a press release, this partnership offers community members a way to support the charity through the donation of a car, truck, motorcycle, RV or boat.

Donating a vehicle is tax-deductible, and the donations will go toward strengthening the programs offered at Benevilla, according to the release.

CARS will assist donors through the donation process and will pick up the vehicles for free.

“There are so many individuals in this community looking to get rid of a vehicle because they are no longer driving or need that vehicle in their household,” Sara Villanueva, Benevilla vice president of donor relations, said.

“This program provides an easy, hassle-free solution all while benefiting Benevilla’s work in your local community.”

Vehicle donations benefit nonprofits across the U.S., and CARS is one of the largest nonprofit vehicle donation provider.

Benevilla began in 1981 as a not-for-profit family services agency that provides care services for its community members.

Some of the programs the vehicle donation will benefit include the Benevilla Life Enrichment Day ProgramsCaregiver Support Groups and the Free Home Services program.
