PHOENIX — From 9 a.m. until noon on New Year’s Eve, the Phoenix Zoo will be dumping nearly 30 tons of snow on the grounds providing winter festivities for those celebrating the New Year.
Snowball targets, bounce house houses, games, activities, cider and juice will be provided as well as a countdown to a dung beetle ball drop at noon.
The activities are provided with general admission into the zoo, which costs 24.95 for adults and 16.95 for children aged 3-13. Children two and under are free.
The winter activities will mostly take place near the zoo’s main lake.
There will also be a banner to sign and space to write your re-“zoo”-lutions for the New Year.
