PHOENIX — Chandler residents will have a new spot to grab a beer starting next week.

HELLUVA Brewing Company, located on the northeast corner of McClintock Drive and Ray Road, will open its doors on Monday at 3 p.m.

“We are thrilled to finally open HELLUVA Brewing Company in Chandler, where we are residents and have been looking for the right location for multiple years,” owner Shawn Shepard said in a press release.

The brewery will feature its own beers, cocktails and a “suds and smoke” themed food menu that will focus on smoked meats like pork, ribs and chicken.

Four of HELLUVA’s own beers will be available on tap for Monday’s opening and the brewery promises to eventually have 20 of its beers brewed on site.

The brewery, located in the old home of a Zipps Sports Bar,  is in the process of hiring more than 80 employees.

“Unique restaurants and local breweries have been strongly requested by the Chandler community,” Chandler Mayor Jay Tibshraeny said in the release. “We wish HELLUVA Brewing Company many years of success in their West Chandler location.”

We want to hear from you.
