PHOENIX — Phoenix Fire rescued a mountain biker who crashed Sunday morning on South Mountain and possibly fractured his collarbone.
After locating the man, crews decided to airlift him to a nearby hospital.
The biker suffered no injury during the transport and is in stable condition.
No firefighters were injured during the rescue.
It seems rescue crews have been busy during the holiday weekend.
Phoenix Fire rescued a man on Thanksgiving when he fell while hiking South Mountain and became lodged between two boulders.
