PHOENIX — There’s a major holiday coming up — and it’s not New Year’s.

National Bacon Day is Dec. 30, and as much as that sounds like we made that up to have an excuse to indulge in as much bacon as possible, it’s actually a real thing.

If this sounds like a dream to you, just know you are not alone: 21 percent of Americans said they would eat bacon every day for the rest of their life. Another 16 percent of Americans said they can’t live without bacon, while 18 percent said it is their favorite food.

According to NationalToday.com, some of the best ways to celebrate National Bacon Day are to order a bacon pizza, buy some bacon-covered donuts or eat bacon-wrapped hot dogs. Or you can do all three, we’re not judging.

Here are some top-notch restaurants in the Phoenix area to celebrate National Bacon Day — or any other day of the week.

Like we said, we’re not judging.
