PHOENIX — On Tuesday, KTAR News 92.3 FM and 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station will host a fundraiser for the victims of Hurricane Harvey.

The hurricane — one of the largest to hit the United States in years — has caused widespread flooding in and around Houston. Thousands have been displaced, hundreds of thousands will need some form of help and more rain is on the way. It will likely be the highest amount of rainfall ever recorded in Texas

Officials need all the help they can get. That’s where you come in.

On Tuesday, click this link to make a donation to the National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster. Your money will go to helping FEMA-related agencies, including the Red Cross.

You can also help spread awareness about the fundraiser on social media using hashtags #HopeForHouston and #HoustonStrong.

If you can’t remember the link, you can text the word HOPE to either 411-923 or 620-620. We’ll respond with a link to the donation page so you can make a difference.

You’ll also hear messages all day long on both 92.3 FM and 98.7 FM reminding you about the fundraiser.

Bonneville International — which owns KTAR News and Arizona Sports — will also have fundraising efforts in Seattle, Salt Lake City and Denver.

There are also several other ways for Arizonans to donate to help the people of Houston.

We want to hear from you.
