PHOENIX — We’re not sure what sinks faster: Former Arizona Diamondbacks ace Randy Johnson’s slider or the price of his Valley home sitting on the market.

According to Realtor.com, Johnson sliced another $3 million off the asking price this week, in addition to $5 million last year.

That means the home he wanted to sell for $25 million back in 2014 is now available for the cut-rate price of $16.5 million.

Johnson’s Paradise Valley house is more than 25,000 square feet and comes with seven bedrooms and 12 bathrooms, not to mention the amenities for a number of recreational activities.

There is a basketball court, a tennis court, a swimming pool and even a home theater.

“The movie theater is the best one that I’ve ever seen,” listing agent Robert Joffe told Realtor.com. “And the 5-acre property in general is phenomenal.”

There are also 11 garage spaces, three fireplaces, a separate two-bedroom guest house, a misting system and the five-acre property also hosts an 1,800 square-foot fitness facility.

There was no word, however, on if the home came with any of Johnson’s signature photography or a replica 2001 D-backs World Series ring — or five Cy Young Awards, for that matter.

Johnson’s house was built in 2006.

We want to hear from you.
