Even though Arizona’s border situation has cooled under President Donald Trump, his policies have made border enforcement — and its cousin, immigration enforcement — even hotter topics.
So, this week on the AZ Political Podcast, Pinal County Attorney Brad Miller joins me to talk about the proactive way his office is working with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) at a time when many are working against ICE.
And the way Miller’s going about it makes him fairly unique among Arizona’s 15 elected county prosecutors: The Pinal County Attorney’s Office (PCAO) has entered into a 287(g)-task force agreement with ICE.
This means PCAO and ICE will share info and intel that he hopes will lead to the arrest and prosecution of people who are in the U.S. illegally and have also committed violent crimes that have a local impact: human and drug smugglers, human traffickers, and people who are committing (or trying to commit) crimes against children.
Miller says he’s not interested in going after people who have committed the federal misdemeanor of illegally crossing the border but are otherwise law-abiding residents.
We also take time to talk about Brad Miller’s path to political office — which includes working as a Staff Judge Advocate in the U.S. Marine Corps (he’s still a lieutenant colonel in the Reserves) and in the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office.
By the way, both of those jobs utilized his legal skills to prosecute crimes against children. Something I can’t imagine doing — at least while also maintaining some semblance of sanity.

This means, Brad's lying or an idiot. ICE is going after anyone in the country illegally, regardless of how long they've been here or their criminal record, and anyone who tries to help them.
Because they're also trying to platform Project 2025 and the white nationalist agenda
How so?
