Main Street Minute: Job fair in Mesa lines up tech and banking managers

• There’s a big hiring event Wednesday in the East Valley featuring employers such as Coder Camps, Chase Bank, Fry’s and more. The job fair runs from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Windemere Hotel in Mesa near Main Street and Recker Road and Main Street.

• A Vancouver-based property-management company has made its third acquisition in the Valley in the past six months. Pure Multi-Family REIT shelled out nearly $60 million for the 230-unit Alta Fillmore apartments near Seventh Avenue and Roosevelt Street in downtown Phoenix.
