• Business social networking site LinkedIn has launched a pilot program in the Valley. LinkedIn Gigs allows job seekers to apply to up to four job openings with a single application.
• The Phoenix Mercury is offering military personnel 40 percent off tickets for Wednesday’s home game against the Washington Mystics. Tickets can be purchased at the Talking Stick Resort Arena box office or online at the team site.
• The city of Phoenix is hiring. Online applications are being accepted for nearly 100 positions, including forensic scientists, police communication operators, elevator inspectors and park rangers.
