Baby Pope meets Pope Francis on Philadelphia street

Pope Francis better watch out: He wasn’t the only papal figure stealing the crowd’s attention during his recent visit to Philadelphia.

Thousands of people crowded streets to greet the pope’s motorcade as it drove through the city. Some had signs, some had messages of hope and one baby, Quinn Madden, had been dressed in a papal outfit.

Today reports the little girl caught Francis’ eye and had him in in near-hysterical laughter. Of course, he asked his security detail to bring Quinn to him so he could bless her with a smile and a kiss.

As the security guard returned Quinn to her parents, he delivered a special message: “”The pope says that you have a sense of humor.”

As the Popemobile rolls on, Pope Francis leaves his baby counterpart with another smile and a little wave.

There’s no word if or when Baby Pope plans to tour the U.S. herself, but we’re sure she’d be a hit.
