Jayme West is co-host of Arizona's Morning News. Since 1996, when Jayme joined the KTAR News team, she's covered some of the biggest local, national and international stories including accompanying Arizona Firefighters to Ground Zero after the 9-11 attacks and spending a year embedded with Phoenix PD's Homicide Unit. She's also been profiling unsolved crimes with Silent Witness on KTAR for more than 20 years. Jayme has won numerous Journalism awards and was named the AP's Reporter of the Year in Arizona 5 times. She also supports and is involved with several local charities. Jayme and her husband are both Arizona natives, enjoy spoiling their only "child" (a cat named Gracie) and spending time at the family cabin in Strawberry.
