Westbound US 60 reopened in Mesa Sunday morning after being closed due to flooding caused by overnight storms.

PHOENIX — Westbound US 60 reopened in Mesa Sunday morning after being closed due to flooding caused by overnight storms.
The highway was closed at Val Vista Drive for over an hour, according the Arizona Department of Transportation.
The National Weather Service in Phoenix issued a flash flood warning for Mesa earlier in the morning.
Eastbound US 60 was previously closed due to standing water as well but has also since reopened.
