Westbound US 60 closed in Mesa for several hours after crash

PHOENIX — The westbound lanes of US 60 in Mesa were closed for several hours after a crash Sunday night, authorities said.

The crash occurred at Crismon Road (milepost 191), according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

UPDATE: US 60 westbound is now closed at Crismon Rd due to the crash.

Expect delays. There is no estimated time to reopen.

The freeway was closed before 7 p.m. and reopened before 10 p.m., ADOT said.

The eastbound lanes were unaffected by the crash.
