Westbound Loop 202 Santan Freeway was closed in Mesa due to a crash on Sunday.
The crash occurred near Higley Road, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
It shut down westbound travel less than 5 miles west of Mesa Gateway Airport.
Eastbound lanes were unaffected by the collision, ADOT said.
