All I-10 and Loop 202 ramps to northbound SR 51 will be closed.

ADOT recommends using northbound I-17 as an alternate freeway route to north Phoenix. Other detour options include northbound 16th, 24th and 32nd streets.

Drivers on the nearby Loop 101 will also hit closures.

Southbound lanes along the Pima and Price freeways close between McKellips Road and University Drive from 8 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for pavement improvements.

East- and westbound Loop 202 Red Mountain Freeway ramps to southbound Loop 101 will be closed. Southbound Loop 101 on-ramps at Indian School, Thomas and McDowell roads will also be closed.

ADOT recommends exiting ahead of the closure and using local routes, including southbound Hayden Road or McClintock Drive, to reach westbound Loop 101 or to travel beyond the closure.

Expect delays as traffic navigates surface streets.

Eastbound Loop 202 Santan Freeway closes in Chandler for road widening

Eastbound Loop 202 Santan Freeway closes between McQueen and Lindsay roads from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for a widening project.

Eastbound Loop 202 on-ramps at Dobson Road, Alma School Road and Arizona Avenue will also be closed.

Alternative routes include eastbound Pecos Road or Germann Road to travel beyond the closure.
