Here’s what you need to know about Valley freeway construction this weekend
Several overnight restrictions -- but no mainline closures -- are scheduled for Valley freeway improvement projects this weekend.

PHOENIX – Several overnight restrictions are scheduled for Valley freeway improvement projects this weekend.
However, no mainline closures are included in the Arizona Department of Transportation’s Weekend Freeway Travel Advisory for June 20-23. (All times below are subject to change.)
Two 24-hour restrictions are for work on the Loop 101 Agua Fria Freeway widening project in the West Valley.

There are a few closures:

It starts in north Phoenix with the eastbound Loop 101 ramps to both directions of Interstate 17, which close from 10 p.m. Friday to 10 p.m. Saturday.
West Valley motorists also should be prepared to slow down when each direction of Loop 101 between 71st Avenue and Union Hills Drive is reduced to two lanes from 11 p.m. Friday to 11 p.m. Saturday.
Where else is there Valley freeway construction this weekend?
Meanwhile, the ramp from 19th Avenue to southbound I-17 closes from 9 p.m. Friday to 2 p.m. Saturday for barrier wall repair. In addition, the right lane of southbound I-17 closes near 19th Avenue at the same time.
Furthermore, Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard closes in both directions at the Loop 101 Pima Freeway from 9 p.m. Friday to 8 a.m. Saturday for bridge widening work.
