US 60/Grand Avenue reopens after crash in Peoria blocked traffic for hours

PHOENIX — Part of US 60/Grand Avenue was closed for several hours in Peoria due to a crash Thursday night, the Arizona Department of Transportation said.

The crash occurred near 75th Avenue, prompting a closure in both directions from Olive to 83rd avenues.

The initial closure was announced at 7:45 p.m., but the westbound lanes reopened within 30 minutes.

The eastbound roadway was reopened overnight.
