Part of US 60/Grand Avenue closed for several hours after crash in northwest Valley

PHOENIX – Part of northbound US 60/Grand Avenue was closed Monday for several hours in the northwest Valley after a crash involving a semitruck, authorities said.

The roadway was blocked at Greenway Road from about 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. as crews worked to remove the truck, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation

One person involved in the two-vehicle collision was hospitalized as a precaution, according to the Surprise Police Department.
