South Scottsdale intersection reopens following serious motorcycle crash

A south Scottsdale intersection was closed temporarily Wednesday after a motorcycle rider was seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash.

PHOENIX – A south Scottsdale intersection was closed temporarily Wednesday after a motorcycle rider was seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash, authorities said.

Around 10:45 a.m., the Scottsdale Police Department said the intersection of Hayden and McKellips roads was closed for the investigation.

The intersection on the Scottsdale-Tempe border was cleared and the streets were reopened by 1 p.m., police said.
