A crash disrupted traffic on the westbound Loop 202 Red Mountain Freeway in Tempe during rush hour on Monday morning.

PHOENIX – A crash disrupted traffic on the westbound Loop 202 Red Mountain Freeway in Tempe during rush hour on Monday morning, authorities said.

Only the HOV lane was open around 7:30 a.m. after the collision near Scottsdale Road, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
On vehicle rolled in the multivehicle crash, which resulted in minor injuries, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
By around 8 a.m. all but one lane had reopened. However, traffic was still backed up beyond the Loop 101 into Mesa.
The eastbound lanes of Loop 202 were not affected.
