Crash temporarily closes EB lanes of Loop 202 in Mesa near Mesa Drive

PHOENIX — The eastbound lanes of Loop 202 Red Mountain Freeway in Mesa were closed temporarily on Thursday night due to a crash at Mesa Drive, the Arizona Department of Transportation announced.

Drivers were advised to expect delays and seek alternate routes while the freeway was closed. All lanes were reopened by early Friday.

The westbound lanes were not affected.
