PHOENIX — Eastbound Interstate 10 reopened south of Chandler on Sunday after an early-morning closure due to a crash, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
The closure began at milepost 175 near Nelson Road, running through milepost 183 north of the State Route 387 interchange, which was not affected.
Drivers who needed the I-10 route between the Valley and Tucson were advised to detour via northbound SR 587, southbound SR 87 and eastbound SR 187, where they could then re-enter I-10.
The closure began before 4 a.m., according to AZ511.
