I-10 in far West Valley reopens after rollover semi-truck crash

PHOENIX – Interstate 10 in the far West Valley reopened Wednesday morning after a semi-truck rollover crash was cleared, authorities said.

Traffic was forced to exit eastbound I-10 at Salome Road ahead of the crash site near 411th Avenue for about 90 minutes before the closure was lifted around 7:30 a.m., according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety said the collision resulted in injuries, but the number of people hurt and the severity was unknown.

Westbound I-10 was not affected by the rollover crash.
