US 60/Grand Avenue closed in Glendale after vehicle-pedestrian collision

A section of US 60/Grand Avenue was closed in Glendale after a vehicle-pedestrian collision Monday morning, authorities said.

A man was crossing Grand Avenue outside the crosswalk near 71st Avenue when he was hit about 2:20 a.m., according to the Glendale Police Department.

He was taken to a hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries.

Grand Avenue was closed for several hours in both directions near 71st Avenue for the investigation.
