PHOENIX — The eastbound Loop 202 Santan Freeway on-ramp at Arizona Avenue will be closing for two months.
The Chandler on-ramp is scheduled to close at 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday and will reopen by July, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT).
ADOT advises drivers to use access points at Alma School or McQueen roads to enter eastbound Loop 202.

The closure is to allow road crews to fix the ramp as part of ADOT’s Loop 202 widening project.
The purpose of the $200 million project is to improve traffic on the Loop 202 freeway between Loop 101 and Val Vista Drive in Chandler and Gilbert.
The project, which started last August, spans 8 miles and will take over two years to complete, according to ADOT.
