Queen Creek Crossing adding 3 restaurants to tenant lineup

PHOENIX — Three new restaurants are coming to Queen Creek Crossing this year: BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse, ONO Hawaiian BBQ and The Habit Burger Grill.

That’s according to retail real estate company Vestar, which is behind the Queen Creek Crossing shopping center.

The massive retail space is located at the northwest corner of Ellsworth and Queen Creek roads on a 31-acre property that features 300,000 square feet of retail space.

When are three new restaurants opening at Queen Creek Crossing?

The soonest opening will take place on March 24. That’s when BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse will start serving its deep-dish pizzas, burgers, craft beers and cocktails.

After that, ONO Hawaiian BBQ will open in May, although the exact day hasn’t been specified. This family-owned fast-casual restaurant chain serves a variety of Hawaiian-inspired dishes, such as kalbi short ribs, kalua pork, spam musubi, chicken katsu, white fish and more.

The restaurant with the latest opening is The Habit Burger Grill, which is known for foods like the portabella, teriyaki and BBQ bacon burgers. Construction of the Queen Creek Crossing chain location is currently underway. Vestar officials expect it to open by the end of the year.

Angie Kory, the vice president of leasing at Vestar, said she’s excited to see the new restaurants open in the East Valley.

“These new dining options will not only enhance the variety of choices for our visitors but also solidify Queen Creek Crossing as a prime dining destination, perfect for family outings or casual meet-ups with friends and coworkers,” Kory said in a Monday news release.
