The Ra Ra Room opens inside Suns’ arena in downtown Phoenix

PHOENIX — The first members-only private dining club inside a sports and entertainment venue is now open at the downtown home of the Phoenix Suns.

The Ra Ra Room, located on the event level of the recently renamed PHX Arena (formerly Footprint Center), will be open during Suns home games, select Phoenix Mercury games, concerts and weekend nights.

Player 15 Group, the company that oversees the sports and real estate investments of Mercury/Suns owner Mat Ishbia, partnered with Major Food Group to open the Art Deco-style speakeasy lounge. Major Food Group has created restaurants such as Carbone, Dirty French, Sadelle’s, ZZ’s Club and more.

Player 15 Group spent $20 million to open the restaurant and club inside the arena.

“The Ra Ra Room is another example of our commitment to continue to elevate Phoenix as the premier destination for sports, entertainment and now high-end hospitality,” Ishbia said in a press release.

“The Ra Ra Room is designed to be a destination in and of itself with the added convenience of Phoenix’s best sports and entertainment offerings in the very same building. Together with Mario, Jeff and Rich, we have created a one-of-a-kind experience that can only be found in Phoenix.”

The room features an upscale dinner menu and wine list, a pantry lined with gourmet snacks and a personal concierge.

Many of Major Food Group’s classic menu items, such as Caesar alla ZZ and CARBONE’s Spicy Rigatoni Vodka, will be available inside The Ra Ra Room.
