Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille sets opening date for 1st Arizona location in Gilbert

PHOENIX — Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille signed a lease in Gilbert last year. Now, the Texas-based chain has an opening date for its first Arizona location.
The steakhouse at 1865 S. Santan Village Parkway will have its grand opening June 8.
The restaurant will span 11,000 square feet and have the capacity for 350 guests. It is located within the new Northside at SanTan Village development near the SanTan Village shopping center.
“We are so excited to bring our first Perry’s Steakhouse in Arizona to Gilbert,” founder and owner Chris Perry said in a news release. “From our roots as a humble meat market in Texas, we’ve grown to focus not only on great food, but also creating a unique dining experience for our guests.
Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille will be open from 4 to 10 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and Saturdays, 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Fridays and 4 to 9 p.m. Sundays. The bar will be open until 11 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and until closing on Sundays.
The restaurant will offer a pork chop lunch special on Fridays, the only day it is open for lunch.
The first Arizona location will have four private dining rooms to offset the main dining area. The private rooms will be able to serve parties between eight and 80 people.
The Perry’s Steakhouse in Gilbert will also have a dining patio with space for 45 guests.
What type of dining does Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille offer?
Perry’s started as a butcher shop in Houston in 1979. The first Perry’s Steakhouse opened in 1993. The restaurant now has over 20 locations in multiple states.
The award-winning steakhouse is known for its aged prime steaks, Perry’s famous pork chop, seafood and desserts.
Perry’s famous pork chop is “seven-fingers-high” and roasted with pecan wood for up to six hours.
The Gilbert location will have to-go service available as well as Perry’s Steakhouse online market, where customers can buy menu items in larger portions to be shipped to their home.
