New-to-market Texas steakhouse is 1st announced tenant at Gilbert project

Texas-based Perry’s Restaurants has signed a lease at a new development in Gilbert for its first location in Arizona.
Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille has plans to open an 11,000-square-foot restaurant at Northside at SanTan Village — a rising development between Williams Field and Ray roads in Gilbert that broke ground last summer. Perry’s is the first announced tenant of the mixed-use development going in just south of TopGolf in Gilbert.
Northside at SanTan Village is a 20-acre development that will include restaurants, retail and a hotel. Developers Okland Capital and San Tan Development Group are behind the project and the first phase will be more than 37,000-square-feet of retail space. There will also be a 134-room Marriott Springhill Suites.
Perry’s first Arizona location is slated to open in the spring of 2026.

Gilbert is the perfect place. It’s becoming the capital of conspicuous consumption. It will be a hit until something trendier comes long.
It's $50 for a pork chop. Even if they were the best steak house in the country, they wouldn't make it in Gilbert. It's not the right market. The people have the money but don't spend like the thousandaires in Scottsdale.
East Valley residents are in for a real treat. The tableside carved 7 finger high prime pork chop presentation is a visual show in itself.
Feasting on the protein is the second course.
Perry's steakhouse and grill isn't just dinner, it's an experience.
Odd they picked Gilbert of all places over somewhere more centrally located.
