PHOENIX — Picazzo’s, an Italian restaurant that takes pride in its healthy options, is set to open its seventh Arizona location in north Phoenix early next month.
The joint will be situated near 43rd Avenue and Happy Valley Road and it will join locations in Scottsdale, Glendale, Paradise Valley, Tempe, Gilbert and Sedona.
Besides an array of vegan, gluten-free and allergy-friendly items, Picazzo’s offers a selection that has touches of Mediterranean, Asian and Mexican influence, according to a press release.
Guests can look forward to starters such as baked brie with homemade focaccia bread, an array of organic salads, stone-oven baked pizza, pasta and cups or bowls of soup.
The growing food chain’s Glendale restaurant was voted “Best Italian Restaurant” in the 2025 Best of the Valley Awards.
“It’s a testament to our dedicated team and our loyal customers that Picazzo’s continues to evolve and grow — nearly 23 years after opening the doors to our first location in Sedona,” Picazzo’s managing partner Chris Disney said. “We can’t wait to bring our spin on healthy Italian fusion dishes to our new Happy Valley location!”
The newest Picazzo’s will be 2,000 square feet and open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
The joint’s “healthy hour” will run from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. daily, with deals on select dishes and drinks.
