PHOENIX — Calling all fish lovers! The co-founders of Bluewater Grill Phoenix are releasing their own seafood cookbook later this month.
“Flavors from the Shore: Nostalgic Seafood Recipes from Our Coasts & Waterways” by Jimmy Ulcickas and Richard Staunton becomes available for purchase on April 28. It can be picked up at bookstores, such as Barnes & Noble, Bookshop and Amazon.
The 352-page book will also be sold at Bluewater Grill Phoenix and the restaurant’s locations in California.
“We’ve been fortunate to be able to share our love for fish and the sea with our Bluewater Grill customers in Phoenix and beyond for 30 years — so this book is our thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey,” Ulcickas said in a new release.
The cookbook consists of 100 recipes that are arranged geographically, taking readers on a tour through California’s shores, the Pacific Northwest, Midwest lakes, Atlantic coast and Mid-Atlantic seaboard. There are also global seafood classics for home cooks to try and recreate.
“Nothing brings family and friends together like a home-cooked meal enjoyed beachside, dockside or shoreside,” Ulcickas said. “Whether it is a weekend, a holiday or an everyday gathering with those we love, when fresh, locally caught seafood makes its way to the table, the result is a celebration of shared memories and bountiful food. … It’s all about making new seafood fans.”
